The "Home 2016" control module is designed for up to 16-step staircases. The LED stair lighting is controlled by two sensors which activate the spotlights sequentially as you ascend or descend the staircase.
Each light dims again as you pass it, creating an impressive end result. The lighting system is also easy to install. For system set up, simply connect the LEDs to the control module and the rest works automatically.
The control module was developed especially for indoor use. Total energy consumption, including sensors, is just 0.5W.
The DIN 43880 housing is designed to fit within mains distribution frames.
The sensor is a motion detector which works without a reflector or a receiving unit at the other end of the step. The small, self-calibrating sensors have to be mounted at each end of the top and bottom steps.
An optional daylight sensor deactivates system automation during daytime, ensuring the lighting system is switched on only when required.
Unused LED channels can be used to provide additional staircase lighting. These channels are permanently on low dim, but illuminate when the sensor is triggered. Perfect for LED strips in handrails.
The controller "Home" is voltage-proof to 24V and alowes to use all common LED-spots and stripes. The maximum switching capacity is 350mA per channel - these are 4,2W of LED-light per step!
